Eeep… one of our all-time favorite party themes just got chic-ified! Put on your cowboy hats and dust off your boots because we’re heading to Zoey’s pink and denim cowgirl shindig. Filled with rustic elements, exciting party games and pink bandanas, they even went the extra mile by having horses, haystacks and lots of plaid. Giving this theme a dose of girlyness right from the entrance down to the small details, everything about Zoey’s party sure looks extra pretty. So if you’re looking for a good ‘ol country-western hoedown, look no further because Mommy Cherie lassoed up some of the best cowgirl party ideas around to share with us. Mosey on in, y’all!
Special thanks to Mommy Cherie for sharing with us some of the inside deets of Zoey’s party:
“The first birthday and baptism of my daughter Zoey Eleonor was extra special as we exerted our deepest love and efforts in bringing this up. It was just a month-long planning and preparation. The venue is at the new rest house of my husband’s brother in Calayab, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
The architecture and design of the house is very appealing as its pavilion roofing is made of natively inspired anahaw. The beauty and design of the garden, pavilions and vintage wood dictated the right theme and design for the party. We finally decided to have a cowgirl-themed party for Zoey.
I love organizing parties and events so I decided to do it ourselves. Our team for the event planning and styling consists of me as the Head Planner together with my husband Edwin – my Mr. Handyman, my best friends Matt Padua and Paola Juego and my assistant artist Elorde Zuniga. Everything was DIY-ed, out of collaboration of ideas and efforts -event planning, design and styling, sketching, costing and buying of party supplies and decorations, making the invitations, coordination with the caterer, lights and sounds and fabrication of woodcrafts. We stuck with pink, brown and denim colors. Pink paisley scarf, pink hats, wood/brown/burlap, cowprint and denim are the predominating design and motif. We were delighted that the concept and vision was successfully carried out and the guests were very pleased with the result. The design perfectly matched the gorgeous venue! The dessert buffet was definitely one of the party highlights. “
Check out the invites to Zoey’s party! Zoey’s cute party invitation was made more charming by the use of burlap, it instantly added a refreshing twist to the normal invites.
Welcome to Zoey’s ranch! I love how the venue gave Zoey’s party the perfect canvass. Exuding the perfect rustic elegance feel, it certainly complemented the theme wonderfully.
Featuring some of Zoey’s monthly snaps in this awesome photo gallery, they also showcased some of their favorite family photos from Zoey’s prevent photoshoot to share with their guests. I love how they extended the theme to this setup because this easily made a wonderful photo-op background for their guests to take their souvenir snaps on, too.
To give the venue the perfect party-party setting, they put up pink bandanas and denim blue paper buntings around the venue.
Giving their table setup a dose of loveliness, they used wooden stump, pretty florals and more natural elements as part of their centerpieces. Nothing super fancy but they made sure that every detail is well tied up with the theme.
I don’t know about you, but for me, their stage setup looks fabulous. Using more wooden elements as part of their stage installation, from the wooden wheels, scattered haystacks and wood plank backdrop, the added cow print fabrics and Zoey’s lasso rope art gave this whole set a more girly and chic fun.
Care for some sweets? As most of you know by now, I have a soft spot for gorgeous desserts and Zoey’s sweet treats spread got my heart beating a little faster. With a beautiful cake wonderfully made by the creative team of Ava’s Cakes & Events, even the cupcakes, chocolate-covered oreo cookies, and sugar cookies were too cute to eat. I’m a drooling mess right now!
Their guests were treated to a day full of fun with exciting activities such as horseback riding, games and coloring fun. I like how ‘game’ Zoey’s guests were, they even attended the party in their full cowboy/cowgirl attires! Yee-haw!
These yummy colorful goodies were given out as Zoey’s party favors. Again, the burlap accents made these mason jars look perfect for the theme.
Here’s our little cowgirl looking all sweet and cute with her fambam.
