Holy guacamole! Here’s another party that has the perfect blend of colors and glamor. With a cheerful display of classic Mexican fiesta traditions and a hefty dose of rustic vibe, Sophia’s birthday bash will surely put us in a “fiesta” mood all day long. From colorful papel picado, piñatas, sombreros and cacti, our friends from The Party Project Manila made sure that everything was perfect right down to the smallest detail. From one pretty installation to the next, I love how everything radiates warmth and excitement at the same time. Oh, I think I haven’t mentioned that Sofia’s friends were also donning Mexican-inspired outfits. These stylish little tots surely livened up the party and took Sofia’s bash to the next level. Wonderfully covered by Happy Folks Studio, behind every smile captured in these photos show us how much they enjoyed every inch of this party. Are you ready to fiesta with us?
The party starts right at the very entrance. This colorful arch welcomes the guests with a bang. With colorful paper pompoms, sombreros and ribbons, those cacti at the sides added extra character to the setup.
The ceiling was decorated with, yep, vibrant papel picado and more paper lanterns. Since no Mexican Fiesta celebration will ever be complete without these multicolored paper art, it’s not hard to see how it instantly brings fun to the venue.
There are several setups gracing Sofia’s party and this is just one of them, the main stage setup. Nothing would complement this theme perfectly than the presence of colorful elements. To give life to the setup, they’ve got ribbons, paper pompoms and medallions. The addition of fruits, cacti and other knick-knacks sure gave this set a breath of fresh air.
¡Ay, caramba! A closer look at their stage installation will reveal this swoon-worthy sugar art. Oh how I love that topper! The word “gorgeous” can’t even cover what I’m trying to say. From the colors used and clean details around the cake, that miniature Sofia doll topper complete with face painting is just too adorable for words.
Giving their table setup a dose of fun. The Mexican fiesta theme was incorporated into the setup with splashy table runners, floral arrangement, cute piñatas, potted cacti and maracas. I’m also loving the rustic pieces of Casa Real, it gives off the perfect “chicness” to the party.
Guests were invited to have their souvenir shots taken at this pretty photo-op setup. Also, wonderfully nestled at the sides are some of Sofia’s baby pics and other milestones to share with her guests. Ohh… I also love how they put a different spin on the ever present letter standees. The color and texture they chose gave it the extra oomph-factor.
For the sweet treats spread, the snazzy and huge paper flowers used at the backdrop made sure that this side of the venue attracts attention as well. Filled with different treats, I’m sure this is enough to satisfy all the ‘sweet tooth’ at the party.
Fiesta like there’s no mañana! To make sure that there is no time to siesta just pure fiesta fun all through-out Sofia’s bash, games and shows were prepared for everyone to participate in and enjoy.
Party favors for everyone. These handmade paper bags were instantly Fiesta-fied with the use of these crepe paper fringe and personalized sticker. Clever much!
Here are some of my favorite photos of darling Sofia and her fambam.
