Hello Kitty Cafe Theme Party Ideas
Since its initial character design in 1962, Sanrio has brought immense joy to countless little girls, teens, and even adults. From Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, and My Melody to Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and Badtz-Maru, these extraordinarily adorable characters have captured the hearts of girls everywhere.
Now, let’s talk about Cristiana Isabel—a sweet little girl who’s all about ‘kawaii’ (you know, that super-cute vibe). For her seventh birthday, her parents threw her an awesome Sanrio Café-themed party. And guess what? Party Doll Manila Events and The Party Project Manila nailed it! They created this Parisian-chic Sanrio Café that’s just too cute for words. Check out the fantastic photos by Nice Print Photography and join in on Cristiana’s milestone celebration!
As guests walked into the party venue, they were greeted by an Instagram-worthy setup. Picture pastel balloons forming an arch—it felt like stepping into a café perched on cotton candy clouds. And those giant cupcakes and macarons? Yep, they spilled the beans about the sweet treats waiting to tickle everyone’s taste buds!
With balloon clouds, paper lantern balls, buntings, and wisteria-like flowers, the ceiling was all decked out in baby pink, lemon yellow, mint green, and lavender hues. It felt like stepping into an otherworldly, almost magical space.
The stage? Well, it was like a pastel pink café straight out of a French movie. You know, those charming places with striped awnings? Hello Kitty and her crew were practically ready to party alongside Cristiana and her guests.
And the tables? Oh, they were adorable. Covered in pink, lavender, and powder blue cloth, each one had a Sanrio character and a pastry centerpiece that fit the whole Sanrio Café theme. Even the kids’ VIP seats got the same treatment.
Cristiana’s birthday featured two side-by-side cakes: one in seamless blue fondant, the other in white. The sweet spread included pink presents, marshmallow twists, a donut, mini cupcakes, and even a fondant Joey (Hello Kitty’s friend) perched atop macarons. The cake toppers were equally delightful: My Melody and Cinnamoroll sat in a gilded teacup on one cake, while the other featured a poised fondant Cristiana ready to blow out the candle. Balloons, flowers, and a fondant rainbow completed this perfect confection.
As for tea, Cristiana’s party had an unlimited supply, and the same went for desserts! Macarons, chocolate eclairs, and tarts kicked things off, and the list of luscious, sweet treats seemed never-ending. What a delightful sugar high!
Cotton candy used to be a light, fluffy treat on a stick, and we’d be thrilled with it just like that. But with Pouf Cotton Candy, it transforms into a sweet, cottony butterfly—one that made Cristiana smile from ear to ear. And that’s not all! Guests also enjoyed a cup or two of Abstract Café’s brew, flavorful fries from Potato Corner, and the refreshing fruit flavors of the premium ice cream offered by FIC Ice Cream.
Alab Poi certainly entertained the guests, who were on the edge of their seats watching the team’s LED performance. Since birthdays are for children, Cristiana and her friends experienced thrill after thrill playing games and winning fabulous prizes.
How wonderful that the children get to keep their favorite kawaii friends with the pillow/blanket giveaways from Cristiana’s party. They also took home some Sanrio character plushies they made themselves. It was truly a birthday to remember.
The Sanrio company believes that ‘achieving true happiness can come by living in harmony with those you share your lives with,’ and that starts at home with the family. May love continue to bring Cristiana’s family closer together, and may happiness spread from them to others.
