“Dress like Jackie. Act like Audrey. Inspire like Lilly. Party like Gatsby.”
When we think of kiddie parties, we think of brightly colored balloons, fun cartoon characters complete with a lively host shouting on top of his lungs. Right? With glitz, glamour, and opulence as the very essence of this theme, Zara’s baby Gatsby-themed party evokes a nostalgic emotion that will definitely leave us in awe. You see, I for one is a big fan of non-traditional themed kiddie parties; so naturally, I fell in love with Zara’s 1920’s-inspired party. With Maja of Passion Cooks catering styling this event, her chic sense of style surely made this party swoon-worthy. Oozing with stylish little misses and dapper dudes running around the venue, the air of lavishness in Zara’s party makes my heart skip a bit. Without further ado, enjoy!

For the invites, this pink and gold stunner looks perfect for the party.
These pearls and flowers added a sense of drama to the venue.
Paper lanterns and pompoms in pink and white brings out the girlyness of Zara’s party. Not to mention the strands of crystals that injected a dose of glitter and shimmer to the setup.
Hanging chandeliers, flower wall backdrop with matching art deco accents on the side made their stage backdrop so Gatsby-perfect. I also like their peacock-printed Zara letter standees, cute.
For their table setup, more flowers, pearls, golds and peacock feathers to keep things elegant.
In lieu of the usual lootbags, these Gatsby-themed personalized name plates served as their party favors. Quoting Mommy Madel: “Where’s my lootbag?” – asked a kid after the thank you remarks, on the stage. While it is a staple for most parties in the Philippines, we decided to get them a nameplate, something that would last longer. But my gosh, a loot bag is a loot bag is a loot bag. Mommies, please take note! 🙂
And, check out Zara’s adorable Baby Gatsby-inspired cake by Sugarplum Pastries. I love the little flapper girl topper, too stinkin’ cute! The details of the cake perfectly captured the elegance of the theme but with a kiddie spin.
Of course, no kiddie party will ever be complete without games and show.
One of the things I love about this party is how stylish the kids look! I mean, they literally dress to impress, very Gatsby-esque.
Check out their fun family photos. Oh and mind you, even the adults readily joined the fun by dressing for the theme.

Hello, sorry for the terribly late response. We got Function rooms A & B and were able to fit in 250 guests + stage and several food carts. 🙂 It’s the Alveo Celadon Towers (condo) venue:)

Hello! Much as we’d like to, our event was also sponsored by a relative who’s now overseas. Please try to contact Alveo Celadon admin ((02) 621 0754, (02) 621 0790), they might be able to help with this request. Best regards! 🙂
