Wonder Woman Theme Party Ideas
In this world of DC and Marvel comic heroes, every child and those young at heart have a favorite superhero. As little girls, who did not imagine herself as Wonder Woman winning a successful battle against Ares or Circe? Romping around the house with gold tin foil as magical bracelets, a hemp rope as the lasso of truth and the largest stainless steel lid from mom’s kitchen as a shield, it was an exhilarating quest to play this Amazon warrior princess. Thanks to event stylist, Khim Cruz, her daughter Tyanne could have everything she imagined in a birthday bash that’s all girl power from start to finish. Let’s begin this epic action adventure with Tyanne…
Boom! Pow! Bam! The ceiling is festooned with vibrant display of colors- an eye-catching display of bold pink, blue and yellow tassels, softened by dainty white balloons.
In a larger than life page of a comic book, Tyanne takes the center stage amidst a backdrop of Gotham City’s skyscrapers and Wonder Woman taking flight.
The Wonder Woman theme carries through with the golden yellow tables and chairs. This bright yellow hue sets off the place mats that mimic the comic book page on Tyanne’s stage. Of course, each table came with a Wonder Woman action figure standing confidently at the center and looking every bit ready for another adventurous mission.
Finally, as a finishing touch to the table design, Tyanne‘s guests each had a personalized drinking bottle by Huncraft – what a unique idea for seating assignments!
Tyanne’s birthday cake is a portrait of Wonder Woman’s superhero costume – first is a layer of blue with brilliant white stars all around, then a second layer of red with her iconic logo and the lasso of truth, and her golden tiara as a splendid topper.
Along with a superbly crafted cake were cupcakes and cake-pops, all designed with a superhero logo and fondant superhero figures. And because it’s all about girl power, the teen Wonder Woman and Super Girl topped each lovely cupcake. Kudos to Crafty Cakes and Cupcakes for their sweet creations that simply looked too good to eat!
