Boardwalk Inspired Party Ideas
Aaahh, the boardwalk… It spells nothing but fun and excitement. The word itself inspires visions of an oceanfront promenade bustling with families, friends and holiday-makers. It conjures the most delightful aromas and flavors like caramel popcorn and hotdogs, and other favorite sweet and salty indulgences. This cherished blue property in the very famous Monopoly Board is recreated at the Sta. Elena Golf Club GuestHouse, thanks to style genius, Dianne Khu Designs and party planner, Events by Miss P. The festive atmosphere is captured in the remarkable photos by Nice Print Photography. This is a
beach pool party you wouldn’t want to miss!
Talitha’s party invitation features amusements at a boardwalk fair just like Coney Island’s Wonder Wheel, Dreamland and Luna Park. It’s enough to tell the guests that they’re going to have a blast!
The boardwalk entrance highlights all the party pleasures in sweet, cotton candy hues – swimming, a show, and food galore to everyone’s satisfaction.
Talitha’s party takes place under a canopy of yards of fabric in soft, delicate shades of pink and lavender. Under this canopy hang paper ball lanterns and at the center are paper ice cream and cupcake honeycomb decorations. It’s a symphony of pastel colors!
The stage is set with a structure commonly found at oceanfront boardwalks – the lighthouse, two of which flank an image of 1-year-old Talitha painted on a huge, round wooden board.
Even their table centerpieces were matchy-matchy with the whole set!
Talitha’s cake is a towering 4-layer treat decorated with fondant versions of boardwalk favorites – hotdogs and fries, ice cream and caramel popcorn. It’s every child’s sweet dream seemingly created with magic, thanks to the cake wizards from Honey Glaze.
Talitha’s dessert spread is “everything sweet, and everything nice” from yummy cake pops and chocolate cupcakes to finely decorated cookies in the shape of donuts, cupcakes and ice cream. It’s a sugary feast you can’t resist.
It’s food galore at Talitha’s party with the signature ice cream flavors from Cold Stone Creamery, Krispy Kreme’s best-selling donuts, Potato Corner’s Giga Fries, Lollipuffs cotton candy, the very original waffle menu by Puffles PH, shaved ice desserts by Vampire Penguin and corndogs & shakes from Starr’s Famous Shakes. Guests are sure to go home with a full heart and a full stomach.
Leodini’s impressive magic show and the amazing performance by Clowning Around, kept the guests glued to their seats.
There isn’t one dull moment at Talitha’s party. There’s the thrill and excitement of the children’s games, endless fun at the inflatable slide and bounce house or a cool, relaxing swim in the pool.
For an Instagram-worthy photo, Talitha’s guests strike a pose in this photobooth set with a carousel horse, some pinwheels, a roller coaster and a Ferris wheel with cars that look like lemon wedges. Teehee!
For sharing this wonderful occasion with Talitha and her parents, guests took home great giveaways like perfume in very handy sprays, water bottles and colorful M&Ms in cute pink and purple dispensers.
A child will thrive where love abounds, and in Talitha’s home this is certain. We look forward to her many milestones and more birthdays as happy as her first…
