Jungle Safari Theme Party Ideas

Going on a safari adventure is in almost everyone’s bucket list — it’s a thrilling, once-in-a-lifetime experience that you can never truly forget. For young Simba’s first birthday, it’s only fitting that his parents went for a jungle theme. The fantastic team of The Party Project Manila perfectly executed it and added a bit of flair for a luxurious twist. Can’t wait to see what we’re raving about? Check out the roaring snaps from Harry Lim Photography below!

Since it’s a luxe-themed party, what better way to show it, but with gilded standees and statues of jungle animals? An ensemble of giraffe, crocodile, and lions relaxing in their natural habitat welcomed guests into the party venue. But before that, the path leading to it was a mini-gallery of sorts filled with Simba’s growing up photos!

Once inside, it’s a totally whole new world! To mimic the feel of a lush forest canopy, faux creeping vines, white swags, verdant-colored tassels and Japanese lanterns filled the ceiling. Did you spot some bits of gold intertwined between the foliage?

With luxe safari as the party theme, it only follows to go wild with greens, right? So instead of a bouquet, every table has arranged palm fronds as a centerpiece décor. We also love how the greenery contrasted with white tables and chairs.

A jungle-inspired celebration doesn’t always have to be primitive, so the extra poshness at Simba’s party is a welcome addition. Of course, Sugarplum Pastries didn’t disappoint with their superb take on the theme by creating a two-tiered confection topped with a golden lion. A fitting nod to the celebrant, don’t you agree?
