Ombré (n) is a French word meaning “shaded” or “shadow”. It refers to the gradual change of color from darker to lighter or vice versa. I think Ombré looks lovely and doesn’t seem like it will ever get out of style, as a matter of fact, it’s everywhere! From hairstyle, clothes and nails to cakes and party décors. It’s pretty clear that the Ombré fever has taken the party scene by storm!
I have compiled some of the stunning ombré party ideas I’ve seen around. Some of these decors are quite easy to do!

It really depends, the chandelier and cake requires more work than the others. For the paper chain, tassel and letter monogram, you just have to look for different shades of your chosen base color.

I love the cake. Even the innards show ombre!
Just a thought, would ombre come from the same root as umbra?
