Cherry Theme Party Ideas

It was a ‘cherry-on-top’ kind of day as Isabella celebrated her first birthday surrounded by her family and close friends. Her doting mom and dad, of course, wanted nothing but the best for their chérie amour, so, Style It Dainty created a sweet, summery cherry dreamland just for her. With Ram Marcelo Photography, every blissful moment was captured in several brilliant photos. Isabella can view and enjoy them when she walks down memory lane years from now.
Isabella’s glittery silver shoes that complemented the polka dot sparkle on her cherry pink tulle dress and come complete with the matching cute ruffled party hat give us an idea of the breadth of the preparation that went into her birthday celebration.
Like clusters of cherries, a garland of balloons decked the entrance to the party venue.
From the entryway, guests must have caught sight of a symphony of bright red, pink, yellow, and green – it was the ceiling festooned with balloon clouds and paper ball lanterns!
The theme and color palette flowed seamlessly from the entrance to the ceiling, and into the stage where garlands of balloons, lined the arches that formed the stage backdrop. At the center, Isabella’s cake sat on a pedestal.
Adorable Isabella and her friends enjoyed their food and watched the spectacular show from the best seats in the house. Their table was covered with a dainty rose-pink cloth and adorned with the prettiest white and pink blooms. The adults tables had white tablecloths that showed off the bright red runner, deep red roses arranged in a white ceramic vase, and a lovely bouquet in a basket.
Isabella’s birthday cake was a delightful 2-tier cake covered in white fondant and embellished with tiny cherries. It was made with such detail that it resembled fine linen with cherries skillfully embroidered on it. A fondant Isabella in her pink, ruffled dress made the perfect topper. Indeed, the artistry that went into the cake design is a marvel.
Madison Events lived up to expectations, entertaining the kids with a lively musical show featuring Poppy, Branch, and the characters from Trolls, the fantastic animated film by DreamWorks. The show was just as fun as the movie!
Here is a portrait of joy – Isabella in her parents’ arms, all of them wearing a big smile on their faces. It was a milestone celebration with Isabella turning a year old, and also a celebration of their young family together.
