Boho Chic Theme Party Ideas
Every child is a blessing that completes a family and turns a house into a home. For this young couple, their family became whole when they were blessed with their daughter Hiraya. It’s such a unique and beautiful name which is an ancient Filipino word that means “the fruit of one’s dreams and wishes”. Indeed, this child is a wish fulfilled! On this day, they celebrated dear Hiraya’s baptism so that she may share in the light and life of Christian faith.
The reception that followed the baby’s baptism was a big hit with the guests. Audrei’s Online Party Shop understood what Hiraya’s parents wanted and set up a boho rainbow party that was both minimalist but stylish. Thanks to Ivy Palomares Photography, we get to experience this precious moment with Hiraya.
Family and friends were welcomed at the entrance with old rose-colored draperies held together by an arrangement of lovely roses. Half of the doorway was covered with a balloon garland in boho hues like old rose, gold, and the palest pink, yellow, and blue.
The area was accented by pink and yellow buntings strung over the ceiling.
Just in front of Hiraya’s cake, a cute bear was sitting on a crate box. Behind the backdrop, a cluster of balloons in monochromatic bohemian hues alluded to the boho rainbow theme. On one side was a wicker chair next to a gorgeous picture of Hiraya, and on the other was a white teepee. The wicker baskets holding tiger grass reeds completed the boho-chic style.
Tiger grass reeds in a green wine bottle with sinamay and burlap made up the centerpiece for the tables.
Hiraya’s one layer cake is covered in seamless white fondant. Clusters of pink and white fondant balls form clouds on which a boho rainbow is nestled.
Guests enjoyed a respite from the heat with the delicious, traditionally made ice cream from The Original 1964 Tatay Tibo Sorbetes
Abracadabra! And a white dove appeared out of nowhere, much to the delight of Hiraya’s young guests. Magic 3ky sure had a lot of tricks up his sleeves, and the children loved it! Just look at those happy faces!
Guests must have been delighted to bring home these souvenirs crafted by DIY Projects.
Looking at their pictures, the love and joy is almost palpable, and we wish them more happy occasions to celebrate in the years ahead. Welcome to the Christian world, Hiraya!
