Baby Shark and Cocomelon Theme Party Ideas
Who could forget the catchy tune of Baby Shark and how it became a phenomenon? Now there’s another contender for kids’ attention—Cocomelon! So it’s no surprise that Anthony had his two favorite characters at his first birthday party. We witnessed Party Bitz and Pieces bring this unique mashup to life, and we were amazed! Take a look at the fun snaps from Niceprint Photography, and you’ll be singing “Baby shark, dut-dut-dut-du-du” in no time!
Casa Ibarra turned into an underwater paradise for kids, with Baby Shark and JJ welcoming guests complete in snorkeling gear. Sea creatures greeted guests as they passed through an arch adorned with sharp shark teeth, blue bubbles, and seaweed!
Inside, the ceiling was adorned with a playful color palette of blue and orange. The overhead was filled with balloons, Japanese lanterns, and buntings, creating a whimsical atmosphere.
Taking inspiration from the party theme, the stage was transformed into an underwater scene! CoComelon’s JJ, dressed in snorkeling gear, joined the Shark family and their friends. Every detail of the setup delighted us with its fun and lively scene.
The floral centerpiece wasn’t complete without the colorful table numbers and JJ waving guests over to their seats. So cute!
Kiddie tables rarely receive such vibrant styling, which is why we adored the special attention given to this area at the party. Young guests could opt for a regular chair or a plush chair with a shark’s tail. Each seat had a colorful setup, complete with a goodie box and party hat.
We were thrilled with how Sugarplum Pastries brought the CoComelon x Baby Shark mashup to life. The three-tiered cake was a vibrant masterpiece, adorned with adorable characters, corals, seashells, and fish. So adorbs!
The dessert spread from Sugarplum Pastries was, without a doubt, such a treat! There were the ever-present lip-smacking goodies like cupcakes, cake pops, and sugar cookies, but we were happy to see wonderful additions to the buffet. Spot the meringue tower and tres shots!
Team Gen hosted the party, and it was a blast! It looked like everyone had an amazing time with the fun games and cool prizes. Plus, who could forget the amazing performances from Tectonix and Bubble Show Manila?
Guests get to bring home a customized Baby Shark x CoComelon backpack filled with awesome goodies from Anthony and his crew. As for the godparents, they received scrumptious grazing boxes as tokens of gratitude.
