Ok, ok, I’ll admit it. I still got some serious post-holiday season hangover and I think I’m not the only one. For those of you who are still dreaming of a white Christmas, I’m glad that Aliyah’s party will somehow make us relive some magical moments even for a few more minutes. You see, Aliyah’s 1st birthday party was held last December 28 so having this theme for her first birthday party sounds perfect to me. A timeout from all Disney Frozen and Winter Wonderland themed parties, Aliyah’s birthday celebration flawlessly captured the delicate balance of 3 different elements together. Careful not to make everything look too outrageous, I was glad that Kathleen managed to make this party look so harmonious. A ballerina party with a touch of Nutcracker in a pink and gold winter wonderland setting, here are some lovely snippets of Aliyah’s whimsical girly fête captured beautifully by Jo Lim Photography. Enjoy!
With a cute ballerina-inspired gown complete with headdress and ballet shoes, see Aliyah’s adorable birthday frock.
Here’s the Nutcracker standing on guard at the entrance to welcome Aliyah’s guests to her party. PS: Pink X Gold. With these 2 colors together, everything was instantly girly-fied!
Attached to their ceiling setup are snowflakes, paper pompoms and medallions all in pink and white to provide a sweet ambiance to the venue.
Aliyah’s stage backdrop looks so pretty! The Nutcracker, cutie ballerina, white Christmas tree and the added gold letter standees look very dainty as a whole. Actually, there’s something about this backdrop that simply evoke an air of pure lavishness.
Their table centerpieces look extra girly as well. To make sure that the theme is very well-connected with their decors, beautiful ballerina silhouettes and mini white Christmas trees were injected to these beautiful floral arrangements
Care for some eye candies? Checkout the Sugar Plum Fairy’s Land of Sweets aka Aliyah’s dessert spread. I can spot different sweet treats that make my mouth water with delight.
And lest we forget the birthday cake, Tazzy Cakes’ adorable creation looks a-mazing! It’s cute beyond words, really.
Of course, they made sure that all their guests got loads of fun. Here’s Flooch in action.
These matchy-matchy kiddie stools served as their giveaways.
Here are some of my favorite snaps of Aliyah and her fambam.

Hi,
I was thinking of throwing my daughter a party like this and I wanted to know what kind of planning went into this event? And if you have any tips or suggestions I’d love to hear them.
