Mischka’s Lilly Pulitzer Inspired Party – 7th Birthday

Think bold, think bright, think playful patterns and darling details. Yes, I’m talking about the Queen of Prep, Lilly Pulitzer. What I love about parties inspired by Lilly is that they can go all out with colors. With chic patterns and preppy mix of colors, everything looks explosive! In a very stylish way, of course. A perfect blend of fun, fearless and fabulousness, the sassiness of Lilly Pulitzer’s creations are all around gorgeous. Styled by Pristine of Party Please and covered by Shutter Count, I’m excited to see that they captured all the girly flair and executed them superbly in Mischka’s birthday bash. Literally with patterns and prints in every nook and cranny, see how they incorporate Lilly’s amazing style from the stage and desserts to tables and ceiling.

Taking inspiration from one of Lilly’s most famous print, the pink flamingo, expect to see these cuties almost everywhere. Oh and the matching palm trees at the back completed the tropical vibe of Lilly’s design. “It’s always summer somewhere” – Lilly Pulitzer

For their ceiling treatment, paper lanterns in assorted colors provided what was needed to make this party colorific.

Of flamingos, floral blooms and Lilly Pulitzer’s famous lines, their table centerpieces look stunning. I love how they chose different quotes for each place card. Some of her quotes are inspirational while the others are downright pure coolness! “Being happy never goes out of style” – Lilly Pulitzer.

Oh sugar! What are the odds that I’ll stop raving about these edible sugar arts? Never. Teehee! From Mischka’s gorgeous cake to those lovely desserts, the colors, prints and details look so good together. The added wooden bench at the center makes this area a lovely photo op backdrop, as well.

Guests were also invited to write their wishes and messages for Mischka.
