Last October 20 (Sunday) was my eldest daughter’s 6th birthday. Geez, where did time go? I don’t want to get sentimental and all so, let’s proceed. We had a simple family celebration together with her cousin, Pauline and all our yayas. We wanted somewhere we haven’t been before and so we went to Rub – Ribs and Bbq at Kapitolyo, Pasig for lunch. Good thing we arrived at around 11:30am because aside from the limited parking, the tables were limited too! When we were seated, the next customers after us were put to the wait list already. Whew!

Soup of the day: Clam chowder

wow that looks yum! I’m sure the kids enjoyed their food.
The cake looks cute too
Wow! I’d love to try that restaurant out one day. The food all look yummy including the cake. Where is the Royal Piccadilly located? My eldest daughter will be turning 12 next month and I’d love to give her a rainbow cake too. 🙂
Ooh, I didn’t initially see the address and contact details of Royal Piccadilly. Good thing I looked again! 🙂 It’s so far from us though since we live in the Southern part of Metro Manila but I’d still like to check it out some time. 🙂
First time I’ve seen a rainbow cake. Does each color means different flavor/taste or the color is for aesthetics purpose? My son likes watching Oggy and will definitely want one for his birthday
Hi Thess, the different colors are for aesthetics only.
So happy I cannot see any cockroaches on the cake. I think I can’t bear it. I’ve never also had a rainbow cake so its going on my to have list.
I have never seen a rainbow cake before. That is awesome! I am going to ask for a rainbow cockroach themed cake for my birthday! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that cake looks absolutely amazing! It’s so cute from the outside, and you cut it and *bam*! More surprises! :)Thanks for sharing!
The cake looks really cool on the outside and even better with the colorful layers.
Oh My goodness! All the food looks amazing but your cake is just FABULOUS!! I am so jealous x x
My nephew likes Oggy and the Cockroaches too. Would try Royal Piccadilly next time. Thanks for sharing!
The cake looks so cute! That’s also my daughter’s favorite! Just not quite sure if we have Royal Piccadilly here in Cebu.
