Disney Aladdin Theme Party Ideas
Today’s party inspiration had us singing, ‘A whole new world!’ because of its wonderful theme. It was a celebration full of color, fun, and magic—minus the flying carpets and a wish-granting genie! For his first birthday, Caden was Aladdin, the young boy who became a prince. The fantastic team behind The Party Project Manila were wizards—the good kind, mind you!—as they transformed the venue into the bustling city of Agrabah. See the fantasy come to life with these spectacular snaps from Carl Garcia Photography.
Guests were welcomed by the façade of a palace with minarets and domes, typical of Islamic architecture. There’s a courtyard flanked by two palm trees, along with a standee of Aladdin and Jasmine. We loved the palette of vibrant turquoise hues and trimmings of gold and violet.
Above, an explosion of colors awaited guests! Swaths of cloth, paper lanterns, balloons, and paper cutouts in fuchsia, aubergine, and cyan made it feel as if they were in a bustling souk. One could easily imagine Aladdin mischievously weaving through the stalls and vendors.
The stage décor mirrored the entrance, featuring standees of Jasmine and Aladdin—albeit larger—along with a palace façade that brought the theme to life. We appreciated the opulent touches of gold, reminiscent of Middle Eastern culture. And, of course, the towering palms couldn’t be missed!
At the adult tables, either Jasmine or Aladdin served as a centerpiece, accompanied by a magic lamp and a gilded candle lantern. The kids’ tables were equally charming, with each spot adorned by a colorful placemat, utensils, and a souvenir box. Additionally, the customized water bottles seamlessly complemented the party’s theme.
Caden’s birthday cake was a majestic masterpiece—a towering creation from Candice Confections. It vividly depicted the iconic magic carpet ride of Princess Jasmine and Aladdin. Complete with cotton and fairy lights, the cake beautifully mimicked the breathtaking nighttime shenanigans. Truly, it was a sight to behold!
The party offered a plethora of activities to keep kids happy and active. They could slide, run, and bounce around in Royal Kids Partyland’s mobile playground, get their faces painted at the Butterfly Kiddie Salon, and snap wacky photos at the Click N Shot booth. Additionally, booths for ceramic painting and slime making tapped into the kids’ creativity and curiosity.
Amazing performances from Team Lizzie and Tectonix had the kids screaming for more—who wouldn’t, especially when they saw superheroes and Disney princesses! And let’s not forget the magician, or should we say master trickster, Leodini, who was an absolute joy to watch!
Did anyone say snacks? Well, guests got to choose from a variety too—French fries from Potato Corner, popcorn from Taters, hotdogs from Tender Juicy, ice cream from Big Scoop Ice Cream, shakes from Zagu, and, for the adults, coffee from Abstract Café.
Prizes awaited the victors! We spotted a few cuddly plushies and a couple of cards and board games for some family fun. Guests received customized pouf chairs, making them feel like kings and queens as tokens for celebrating Prince Caden’s birthday.
Caden and his two older sisters looked like royalty in their shiny, shimmering, splendid outfits. The birthday boy embodied every inch of the prince that he is, as his adoring parents watched and celebrated his first milestone in life. His party truly transported everyone to a whole new world, and it was absolutely fabulous!
