There’s something magical about a child’s first birthday—a beautiful milestone that marks not just 365 days of giggles, cuddles, and firsts, but also the love and memories poured in by family and friends. For little Si An, this moment was celebrated in a truly special way: a traditional Korean Doljabi party that beautifully blended cultural heritage with modern charm. Styled to perfection by The Party Project Manila, the venue was transformed into a soft, elegant space. Get ready to be swept away by the joy, the culture, and all the beautiful memories captured by Harry Lim Photography on this unforgettable day.

Stepping into Si An’s birthday bash felt like walking into a whimsical daydream. With fluffy clouds, a cascade of balloons in soft sky blues and creams, and his name displayed boldly, it felt like the entrance was welcoming everyone to a day filled with love, laughter, and tradition. You couldn’t help but smile and think—this little one was already making a grand entrance into year one.

The main backdrop was a grander echo of that whimsical entrance. The same soft clouds and balloon wonderland—just bigger, bolder, and birthday-ready. At the center were the sweetest stars of the show: the cake and dessert spread, surrounded by a thoughtful selection of traditional Korean treats that are an essential part of a Doljanchi. Together, they added not only charm but meaning to the setup, honoring the celebration’s roots while delighting every guest.

Feast your eyes on the sweetest centerpiece: Si An’s spectacular two-tiered cake, lovingly crafted by the talented Sugarplum Pastries. Topped with an adorable mini-Si An in his traditional Korean outfit, it wasn’t just dessert—it was a confectionery masterpiece, ready for its first bite and sending wishes for a future as bright and beautiful as the cake itself.

The sweets table was a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. Sugar cookies shaped like traditional Korean hanboks and cake pops featuring little Si An’s face were almost too cute to eat (but totally worth it!).

The tables were dressed to impress with soft blue runners, elegant hydrangeas, and gold accents that added just the right touch of sparkle. Flickering candles lent a warm, gentle glow, making every seat feel like the VIP section of this little prince’s big celebration.
