Vera’s Winnie the Pooh Themed Party – 1st Birthday

“Gaiety, Song-and-Dance
Here we go ’round the mulberry bush”

We are in for a treat, as Vera’s sweet birthday party features the all-time favorite Winnie the Pooh! Looking at all the details of this affair, it is no wonder why this is one of the most popular themes for children’s parties. With so many elements to play with, this fete tickled the imagination and brought to life our beloved Pooh Bear. Making this more charming, though, is event stylist Let Agnes Be Design Studio’s different take on our beloved bear. Instead of the one clad in a red shirt, we see a more classic-looking Winnie the Pooh, making this party all the more enthralling. The Hundred Acre Wood from the stories was brought into the real world, courtesy of the flora all around. Let’s look at some snaps captured by Little J Photography, and I’m sure you’ll love this party as much as Pooh loves hunny!

Guests are welcomed with this lovely installment of greens with pops of yellow. There is also a cute little framed celebrant’s name to usher the visitors in. The eye-catcher of the setup though, is the huge map of the Hundred Acre Wood.

There’s Pooh Bear with Piglet, waiting for new adventures to begin! With details such as the honey bees, the pillow logs, and the wooden signs, this main area is as cute as it can be.

Tabletops looked so fresh with flowers as centerpieces and yellow gingham as runners. Book covers gave the spread some character, and served as good conversation starters as well.

Vera’s cake is so adorbs! More friends from the Hundred Acre Wood can be seen: there’s Rabbit and Eeyore checking out Tigger, whose knickknacks have sent him flying off with some balloons. Pooh and Piglet are yet again the highlight in this sweet delight. Sugarplum Pastries sure make me rumbly in my tumbly!

You know what Pooh says: “Sometimes, the smallest things take the most room in your heart”. Vera’s sweet treats will not only get the most room in anyone’s heart; they can also get the most room in anyone’s tummy! Such cute details!

Cute drawstring bags with ‘smackerels of something’ were given to guests as take-home gifts. I like that each bag has a Winnie the Pooh quote on it.
