Troy’s Adventure Time Themed Party – 1st Birthday

Thanks to my daughter Ashlee, I’m watching this show every.single.day. Do I understand what this show is all about? No. But Ashlee loves it so much that when I first showed her Troy’s Adventure Time themed party, she was smiling from ear to ear. In fact, she likes it so much that she’s insisting to co-blog this showcase with me! I can’t blame her though because Khim of Party Deco pretty much nailed everything awesomely. If you’re planning to throw an Adventure Time themed party for your kiddos, then this party is a must-see. Filled with tons of great ideas, you will surely be inspired in no time. From the show’s fun (and weird) characters to the different kingdoms, Troy’s party will take us to the exciting Land of Ooo.
Ashlee: I love to watch this show because I like how Finn and Jake save their friends from the Ice King and they also have lots of fun adventures together.

Troy’s 12 months of adventure (photo gallery) was showcased wonderfully at the entrance. Check out the straps, why, it’s an Adventure Time id strap! Spot-on!
Ashlee: I like how they decorated it with different pictures of Troy. He looks so cute in all of them

Inspired by the main character of the show – Finn and Jake, blue, white and yellow-orange lanterns were used to embellish the ceiling. While their house, also called the Tree Fort, can be seen at the stage backdrop. I also love how they matched the letter standee to the theme.
Ashlee: Everything looks so colorful. I also like how the letters were made to resemble Jake and the gang.

Both the kiddie and not-so-kiddie table setup features different characters from the show. From Jake, Finn and BMO, I can also spot the Ice King at the other tables. I sure am glad to see our favorite character making a cameo appearance here – Princess Bubblegum for Ashlee and my personal favorite, Marceline – the gothic vampire queen.
Ashlee: I like how they put different characters in their tables and every one of them looks cool, too.

For the sweet treats spread, I cannot think of any other kingdom more suitable to get an inspiration from than Princess Bubblegum’s Candy Kingdom. Everything was aptly named in reference to the different Candy Kingdom’s inhabitants. Don’t miss-out Troy’s adorable cake and cupcakes.
Ashlee: I like all the sweet and yummy candies. The design of the cake is my favorite because they put all my favorite characters in it even the Ice King.

For giveaways, this Jake-inspired container sure is a wonderful idea – easy, cute and matchy matchy with the theme.
Ashlee: This is really nice.
