Carolina’s Farmer’s Market Themed Party – 1st Birthday

One of the joys of staying in the metro is continually being surrounded by hundreds of nice restaurants and shops – but despite the convenience of having these places close by, the countryside remains my cup of tea! Aside from loving the spectacular panoramic farm lands, I have had the craziest memories embedded there – oinking at pigs and chasing chickens! So as soon as I got these party photos, my heart thumped with joy because I was back where I wanted to be…

Not only does Kaye Garcia style celebrations, she doubles as a super mom so trust me when I say that her ideas for the birthday hoedown of her country lassie were impeccable! Seriously, she had me sold on every single one of her farm ideas! She took advantage of the outdoors and chose green mainly as the palette for a natural and summery tone. The rustic and farm elements blended in perfectly in the lawn areas and there even was a lovely marquee where guests relaxed and enjoyed a smorgasbord of country fare. And since tots seem to love farm tasks, Mommy Kaye provided plenty of amusing activities! E-I-E-I-O! Little People Lifestyle Photography sent in a bushel of snaps so come stroll along with me peeps in a day on Carolina’s farm!

Charming and natural are the keywords for the party venue. Making use of succulents, blooms, and bales of hay as decorations let nature rule the day.

A mishmash of hanging paper lanterns, pompoms, and honeycombs in mint and peach created a dreamy atmosphere in the marquee!

Serious matchy-matchy has no place at a relaxed al fresco soiree. So Mommy Kaye varied the arrangement of the party tables and how the centerpieces were put together in each table. Elements such as the greeneries and the miniature nipa huts gave a homespun ambiance. Who knew those animal jar tops could look suitable and so adorable? Love ‘em!

I can almost hear the “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” song playing at the background upon seeing this pretty cake! There were chocolate mud, vegetables, ducks, and wagons on and around each layer – and together they depicted some classic farm scenes!

Oink! Cluck! Neigh! Moo! Buzz! The sweet station impressively captured the charm that only country farm can bring! The spread boasted a wide selection of spectacularly decorated desserts – shaped from cute chicks to nourishing carrots to amazing hanging beehive with bees cake by Cuppy Puppy Bakehouse!

When in the country, one would be remiss not to try to sip lemonade out of a mason jar – which is why I am glad this classic stand popped up here!

Nature is teeming with activity and nowhere is this more apparent than down on the farm! So the Flip Flop Decorating activity and Pot Painting + Planting activity guaranteed everyone in this bash a good time!

As the party came to a close, Carolina handed out succulents to her guests, let them pick out the seeds they want to plant, and let them shop for the freshest local farm produce! Pretty unique favors! I love this idea!
