Alessa’s The Nutcracker – Ballerina Themed Party – 1st Birthday

Just when I am trying to get over the holidays and get back into the swing of things, this magical party pops up and oh good golly, I cannot help but feel the holiday cheer again! So do not let those post-holiday blues set in just yet because this party offers to extend that holiday glow a tad longer!

Alessa danced her special day away with a party inspired by the popular Christmas story, The Nutcracker. With ballerinas and nutcrackers in a sea of pink, this soiree styled by Party Magic turned out so magical and charming! Since The Nutcracker story is a staple of the festive season, this theme incorporates the best festive holiday props. Party Magic nicely added touches of Christmas to the event design – and I am beyond smitten with the outcome! Here are the lovely snaps so you know what I am gushing about – all captured by Cradles.

Our prima ballerina greeted her guests with five large nutcrackers standing next to the entryway. Housed in a pink ribbon streamer canopy, they made for a grand entrance prop!

Now keep your eyes peeled for this inspiration when organizing a wide assortment of pieces. How amazing is the uncluttered look of the space? The look of classic elegance makes me swoon, and oh pink, you never let us down! The stage was exceptionally aglow!

See the wonderful mix of stars, paper lanterns, and tassels up above! I am a whole lot obsessed too with the adorable garland of ballerinas in nimble ballet positions!

From napkins to centerpieces, everything was kept rosy. The nutcracker was an eye candy and those balls snatched from the holiday tree then placed inside hurricane vases complemented all shades of pink.

Pink and blue in this cake made for a charming combo. Decorated with holiday scene setters and topped with a ballerina snow globe, you cannot get more Christmassy than this!

So okay, I had a sudden epiphany when I saw the sweet station – my obsession with all things Christmas and pink knows absolutely no bounds! I am in LOVE with the dessert setup! The nutcracker and the wooden dolls wearing tutus proved a pretty display. The sweets were given a fun touch by serving them up in cute cupcake laced holders and candy jars garnished with pompom garlands.
